Job Title: Small Plant Service Technician

We are seeking an experienced Small Plant Service Technician to join our team in the West Midlands area.

Job Summary:

The successful candidate will be responsible for diagnosing, repairing, and maintaining small plant machinery and hand tools, ensuring all equipment is maintained to safety and operational standards.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Diagnose and repair small plant machinery and hand tools, including compressors, generators, concrete mixers, and saws.
  • Carry out routine servicing and preventative maintenance to ensure equipment is in good working order.
  • Attend to breakdowns on-site, providing mobile service duties as required.
  • Ensure all equipment is maintained to safety and operational standards, adhering to health and safety regulations.
  • Complete job records and paperwork accurately, collaborating with team members and providing customer support where necessary.
Requirements:
  • Previous experience in small plant and tool maintenance is essential.
  • Strong mechanical and electrical fault-finding skills.
  • Ability to work independently and as part of a team.
  • Full UK driving license required for mobile duties.
  • Knowledge of health and safety regulations.
