Small Plant and Tools Service Engineer Opportunity

Chartwell Recruitment is seeking an experienced Small Plant and Tools Service Engineer to join our client's team in the West Midlands area.

Job Summary:

We are looking for a skilled professional to diagnose, repair, and maintain small plant machinery and hand tools. The ideal candidate will have a strong background in mechanical and electrical fault-finding, as well as experience in routine servicing and preventative maintenance.

Key Responsibilities:
  1. Diagnose and repair small plant machinery and hand tools, including compressors, generators, concrete mixers, and saws.
  2. Perform routine servicing and preventative maintenance to ensure equipment is in good working order.
  3. Attend to breakdowns on-site, providing mobile service duties as required.
  4. Collaborate with team members and provide customer support where necessary.
Requirements:
  1. Previous experience in small plant and tool maintenance is essential.
  2. Strong mechanical and electrical fault-finding skills.
  3. Full UK driving license required for mobile duties.
  4. Experience within the Small Plant and Tools Service Engineer sector is required.
