MCS Group is seeking an experienced Senior Pensions Administrator to join their successful Belfast based team. This new, full-time permanent position offers flexible / hybrid working arrangements and a competitive salary ranging from £35,000 to £45,000 depending on experience.

This role involves managing and maintaining the administration aspects of defined benefit and defined contribution pension schemes on behalf of the scheme trustees. As a key point of contact, you will provide excellent service to scheme members and third parties, ensuring accurate and timely information is communicated.

The ideal candidate will have broad pension technical knowledge, at least five years' experience in Defined Benefit pension administration, and a detailed understanding of UK pensions legislation, regulation, and codes of practice. They should also possess excellent communication skills, both written and oral, with the ability to articulate complex issues effectively.

Responsibilities include:
  • Managing client relationships and transactions for pension schemes
  • Providing expert advice and guidance to scheme members and trustees
  • Coordinating ad-hoc and annual pension projects
