Job Title: Information Security Analyst

We are seeking a skilled Cyber Security Analyst to join our Security Team and focus on Governance, Risk, and Compliance.

This role offers an InfoSec Analyst the opportunity to represent information security, interpret technical design, and apply information security best practices in a dynamic environment.

The position is based at our office. You will work onsite with flexibility to work from home for part of the week.

Key Responsibilities:
  1. Assist in establishing and monitoring the corporate information security policy, standards, procedures, guidelines, internal controls, and business continuity to ensure Howdens Business Information is protected.
  2. Provide technical project support representing information security and ensuring appropriate security measures are implemented.
  3. Support the PMO (Project Management Office) to ensure security is assessed within projects and oversee supplier compliance to Howdens' needs for Cyber Security.
  4. Lead incident management investigations and conduct risk and vulnerability assessments where necessary.
  5. Engage with IT projects to perform Security Reviews and communicate findings effectively.

Requirements:
  • Technical Operations Security experience with a governance focus or equivalent experience working in a Security Governance role.
  • Demonstrated ability in problem analysis and resolution.
  • Hold a recognized Cyber Security qualification (CISA, CISMP, CISM, or equivalent).
  • Familiarity with presentation and training techniques in matters of IT security, as well as business continuity and crisis management activities.

About the Role:
We offer a competitive salary: £60,000 - £80,000 per annum, excellent pension scheme with company contributions up to 12%, 25 days holiday + bank holidays, Staff Discount, and Employee Assistance Programme.
