About the Role:

We are seeking an Aspiring Educational Psychologist - Psychology Graduate to join our team at Academics. The successful candidate will have a passion for helping young people with special and complex needs.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Support pupils with a wide variation of needs, including Autism (ASD), PMLD (Profound Multiple Learning Difficulties), Speech and Languages (SP&L), and Social Emotional and Mental Health (SEMH).
  • Work alongside experienced and qualified professionals, including Speech and Language Therapists, Educational Psychologists, CAMHS Link workers, and Mental Health professionals.
  • Participate in the development and implementation of individualized education plans.
  • Collaborate with teachers and other support staff to ensure a comprehensive and inclusive learning environment.

Requirements:

  • Aspiring Educational Psychologist - Psychology Graduate with a strong passion for supporting young people with special and complex needs.
  • Childcare-related experience, particularly with a SEN focus, is ideal.
  • Must be resilient, patient, calm-natured, empathetic, and adaptable.
  • Hardworking and driven individual who will exceed all expectations of the role requirements.
