Exciting Opportunity in Essex
We are seeking a Child Development Specialist to join our dynamic team of practitioner psychologists at Essex County Council. As an Educational Psychologist, you will be part of a large, progressive, and committed team that applies psychology to support children and young people in Essex.
About the Role
This is a permanent, full-time position with a competitive salary range from £42,422 to £61,848, plus SPA. You will have the opportunity to work in a supportive environment with access to comprehensive induction, ongoing clinical supervision, and excellent continuing professional development opportunities.
Your Skills and Qualifications
- Eligible for Graduate membership with the British Psychological Society (GMBPsS)
- Hold a Doctorate or Masters degree in Professional Educational Psychology
- Registered with the HCPC as a practitioner psychologist or eligible for registration
- Good understanding of relevant legislation and evidence-based approaches
- Committed to applying psychology to make a difference to children and young people's lives

Location and Lifestyle
Educational Psychologists will need to be mobile throughout an operational area, therefore a driving licence and access to a vehicle are required, or alternative mobility arrangements can be made.
