We are seeking a highly skilled Kitchen Porter to join our team in providing a clean and safe working environment to agreed standards within The Ozone. As a key member of our kitchen team, you will be responsible for maintaining the highest standards of cleanliness and hygiene.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Control stock of all cleaning equipment and chemical products using a systematic approach
  • Control stock movement and ensure stock security
  • Actively promote correct usage of chemicals
  • Attend and contribute to team meetings
  • Actively promote an attitude of hygiene and methodical cleaning amongst all team members
  • Avoid chemical and water wastage by following manufacturers' guidelines and training
  • Keep kitchens in a clean and presentable manner at all times
  • Report any maintenance issues to the head chef immediately
  • Follow all cleaning schedules and routines
  • Use all machinery as instructed by manufacturers' guidelines

Requirements:

  • Previous cleaning experience is desired
  • Excellent customer service and communication skills
  • Attention to detail to ensure the 5-star standard of service is delivered
  • Ability to effectively interact with management and team members in a professional manner
  • Be a team player as well as an individual worker
  • Be well-presented and represent a high standard of competence at all times
  • Must have transport
