Job Description:

Key Responsibilities:

  • Create engaging web pages and maintain them on both internal and external platforms.
  • Design graphics for various projects, including posters, brochures, and web pages.
  • Support events for Safety, Labor, and Workforce Development as needed, including behind-the-scenes and day-of logistics.
  • Develop communications of all types, including planned and urgent messages.
  • Assist with projects for entities and boards we are involved with, which may not be directly tied to Alabama Power.
  • Webpage design experience is required, and candidates should bring examples of their portfolio to the interview.
  • Graphics experience is also required, and candidates should bring examples of their portfolio to the interview.

Organizational Skills:

  • We work on multiple projects simultaneously for both internal and external customers, so strong organizational skills are essential.
  • Candidates must be clear and concise in their written and spoken communication.
  • Transparency is key when unsure about a task or have a question.
  • Time management skills are crucial in this role.
  • A team mindset is essential, as we all work together to get the job done.
