Job Title: Web Designer

Job Description:

Roles and Responsibilities:

  • Create web pages and maintain them on both internal (SharePoint) and external (HTML) platforms for Pacer Staffing.
  • Design and create graphics for various projects, including posters, brochures, web pages, and invitations.
  • Assist with events for Safety, Labor, and Workforce Development as needed, including behind-the-scenes and day-of logistics.
  • Develop and create communications of all types, including planned and pop-up communications with short deadlines.
  • Support projects for entities and boards that Pacer Staffing is involved in, which may not be directly tied to Alabama Power.
  • Webpage design experience is required, and candidates should bring examples of their portfolio to the interview.
  • Graphics experience is also required, and candidates should bring examples of their portfolio to the interview.

Organizational Skills:

  • Must be organized and able to work on a variety of projects simultaneously for both internal and external customers.
  • Must be clear and concise in written and spoken communication.
  • Must be transparent when unsure about how to complete a task or have a question.
  • Time management skills are essential.
  • Must have a team mindset and be willing to pitch in to get the job done.
  • Must have creative ability to think outside the box and solve problems.
