Role Overview
We are seeking a skilled and compassionate Nurse to join our team in delivering safe and effective haemodialysis treatment to our patients. As a key member of our multidisciplinary team, you will be responsible for providing individualised care, mentoring and assisting colleagues, and promoting patient-focused care.
Main Responsibilities
- Deliver high standards of individualised care, promoting patient-focused care and adhering to company procedures and guidelines.
- Mentor and assist team members in the team, promoting a culture of collaboration and teamwork.
- Provide safe haemodialysis treatment in line with patient prescription, adhering to company policies and procedures.
- Work collaboratively within a multidisciplinary team, and with external organisations and hospital trusts, promoting effective communication and partnerships.
- Promote and demonstrate effective communication at all times with patients, users and providers to the service.
- Continuously develop knowledge and skills relevant to delivering a high standard of care to renal patients, staying up-to-date with current professional nursing issues and evidence-based practice.
Person Specification
- Full NMC registration
- Nursing degree
- Experience in renal nursing and dialysis is essential
- Good communication skills
- Good knowledge of current professional nursing issues
- Ability to adapt to change within the working situation
- Good interpersonal skills, friendly and outgoing, flexible
- Able to work effectively within a team
