About the Role

This position offers the opportunity to provide vital support and compassionate care to individuals in mental health settings. The role involves working with a team to deliver patient care, ensuring the highest standards of care and support. The ideal candidate will be passionate about making a positive impact on people's lives and have excellent communication and interpersonal skills.

Key Responsibilities

The successful candidate will be responsible for monitoring patients' conditions, assisting in the delivery of patient care, and ensuring that patients are the prime focus when making decisions about their care and wellbeing. They will also assist patients with compassion when undertaking normal activities of daily living while maintaining privacy, dignity, and human rights.

Requirements

To be considered for this role, you will need a minimum of 6 months experience as a Mental Health Care Assistant. Alternatively, you can be studying as a Student Nurse with at least 12 weeks clinical placements, studying towards a Mental Health Nursing degree. You will also need to provide evidence of completing the Care Certificate or a relevant qualification. A driving license is essential for this role.
