Randstad is seeking an experienced Social Worker to join our team as a Mental Health Social Worker. As part of this role, you will assess, plan, and deliver social work services to individuals with mental health needs. You will work collaboratively with a multidisciplinary team to ensure that clients receive the highest standard of care. Responsibilities
  • Conduct Assessments: Conduct thorough assessments of clients' mental health needs, risks, and strengths, developing individualized care plans to address their unique situations.
  • Multidisciplinary Teamwork: Work closely with healthcare providers, psychiatrists, nurses, and other professionals to deliver coordinated and comprehensive care.
  • Safeguarding Measures: Identify and respond to safeguarding concerns, ensuring the safety and well-being of vulnerable adults and children.
  • Client Empowerment: Advocate for clients' rights and needs within the mental health system, empowering them to make informed choices about their care.
  • Record-Keeping: Maintain accurate and detailed records of all client interactions, assessments, and care plans in line with professional standards and organizational policies.
Requirements
  • Education: Bachelor's or Master's degree in Social Work.
  • Licensure: Current registration with Social Work England.
  • Experience: Proven experience working in mental health, preferably within a social work or multidisciplinary team.
  • Skills:
    • Strong understanding of mental health issues and the challenges faced by individuals with mental health conditions.
    • Excellent assessment, planning, and case management skills.
  • Additional Requirements:
    • Enhanced DBS check.
    • Full clean driving license (if applicable).

This position offers a competitive salary of approximately £40,000 per annum, based on experience.
