About the Role

Gleeson Recruitment Group is seeking an experienced Finance Manager to join our South Birmingham based client. This is a fantastic opportunity for an accomplished finance professional to lead and shape financial strategy.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Oversee the preparation of financial reports, budgets, and forecasts to inform strategic decisions.
  • Manage daily financial operations, including cash flow, regulatory compliance, and financial controls.
  • Develop and implement financial strategies aligned with organisational objectives.
  • Ensure the accuracy of financial data and adherence to statutory and regulatory requirements.
  • Lead and mentor the finance team, promoting a culture of excellence and collaboration.
  • Collaborate with senior leadership to provide financial analysis and recommendations.
  • Monitor expenditures and implement cost-control measures to maximise profitability.
  • Drive improvements in financial processes, systems, and operational efficiency.

Qualifications and Experience:

  • A degree in Finance, Accounting, or a related discipline (professional certifications such as ACA, ACCA, or CIMA are strongly preferred).
  • Demonstrable experience in financial management.
  • Proficiency in financial software and advanced Excel expertise.
  • Excellent communication skills, with the ability to articulate complex financial concepts clearly and effectively.

Salary: Up to £55,000 per annum.

Location: South Birmingham.
