Heavy Goods Vehicle Technician

We are looking for a highly skilled HGV Technician to join our team in Bodmin. As a key member of our operations team, you will be responsible for maintaining and repairing our fleet of vehicles and waste management handling equipment to ensure they meet strict health and safety standards.
You will work closely with our maintenance team to schedule and perform preventative service and maintenance inspections, ensuring our vehicles are always in good working condition. Your extensive knowledge of HGV maintenance and repair will be invaluable in helping us maintain our high standards.
Key Responsibilities:- Maintenance and repair of vehicles and waste management handling equipment
- Scheduled preventative service and maintenance inspections
- Meeting health and safety legislation and DVSA requirements
- Fully skilled having achieved a full level 3 HGV / PSV apprentice qualification/City and Guilds Qualification/NVQ Qualification
- Minimum of a car/van driving licence
- HGV licence desirable

Salary: £19.22 per hour. Estimated salary: £38,354 - £43,440 per annum (based on 45 hours per week).
