### Job Summary

Contechs is recruiting a Lead Chassis Engineer to join our client's expanding team on a Contract basis. Our client is a renowned manufacturer of luxury-handcrafted motorcycles, and we are looking for an experienced professional to lead the design and development of quality components and systems for new class-leading motorcycles.

### Key Responsibilities

* Lead the design and development of quality components and systems for new class-leading motorcycles
* Successfully communicate and work with key internal departments and external service providers and suppliers to ensure quality design and feasibility
* Approve concept and detail CAD designs and drawings
* Attend and input into engineering reviews and discussions
* Occasional travel may be required to support supplier development and product testing

### Requirements

* Mechanical Engineering Degree with a grade of 2:1 or above
* Practical hands-on engineering and mechanical experience
* An understanding of motorcycle chassis design and its interaction with powertrain and electronics is essential for this role
* A minimum of 6 years within a motorcycle engineering background
