Lead Chassis Engineer

Contechs Consulting Ltd is seeking a highly skilled Lead Chassis Engineer to join their team on a permanent basis. As a key member of the design and development team, you will be responsible for supporting the design and development of significant components and systems related to chassis systems and components on a range of new motorcycles.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Support the design and development of chassis systems and components for new motorcycles.
  • Review and approve concept and production-level design, both internally and externally.
  • Collaborate with key internal departments and external service providers and suppliers to ensure quality design and feasibility.
  • Develop commodity delivery plans and drive delivery to plan.
  • Approve concept and detail CAD designs and drawings.

Requirements:

  • 5+ years of automotive design engineering background, ideally in motorcycle design.
  • Leading the design and development of quality components and systems for new class-leading motorcycles.
  • An understanding of motorcycle chassis design and its interaction with powertrain and electronics.
  • Successful communication and collaboration with key internal departments and external service providers and suppliers.
  • CREO experience is preferred but not essential.
  • Ensuring application of relevant industry standards and benchmark learning.
