Objective:

We are seeking an experienced EDMS Coordinator to support our Rail business unit.

The ideal candidate will assist the Senior Information for Rail with the consistent setup and delivery of projects according to our Information Management Standard (Q STD 616).

This role is suitable for an ambitious, driven individual who can work effectively within a high-performing team.

Key qualifications include:

  • Strong experience in the use and configuration of EDMS systems, including Trimble Viewpoint For Projects, Trimble Viewpoint Field View, and Bentley ProjectWise.
  • Extensive experience working on projects within the rail sector.
  • A good understanding of engineering and construction work processes that govern our rail projects.
  • Self-motivation, results-orientation, and the ability to work with remote supervision.
  • Problem-solving skills, conceptual thinking, and the ability to work with multiple EDMS systems.
  • Excellent written and oral communication skills, with proficiency in standard office software.
  • Ability to communicate, train, effect change, and implement improvements.
  • Strong team working capabilities.

About the Rail Business Unit:

Morgan Sindall Infrastructure plays a crucial role in maintaining Britain's rail network, providing renewed and enhanced rail infrastructure with minimal passenger disruption.

Our customers receive a multi-disciplined service covering electrification, power supply, tunnelling, and civil engineering and building capabilities, including structures, lineside infrastructure, and station enhancements.

We adopt innovative working practices and techniques to minimize disruption for railway users, such as 'live launch' bridge construction.
