Occupational Therapist Specialist

We are seeking a highly skilled and dedicated Occupational Therapist to join our team at Spire Hospital, Bristol. As an Occupational Therapist, you will play a vital role in providing assessment and treatment for patients within our in-patient/out-patient service.
Key Responsibilities:- Conduct thorough assessments of patients' health and wellbeing needs.
- Develop and implement individualised treatment plans based on patient goals and clinical diagnosis.
- Provide specialised advice and support to patients and colleagues on current evidence-based practice.
- Maintain accurate clinical observations, treatment records, and ensure proper billing and stock control within the therapy department.
- Communicate complex, sensitive, or contentious information effectively to patients and team members.
- Lead and support the development of knowledge, ideas, and work practices within the occupational therapy specialty.
- Utilise technology effectively for the measurement, monitoring, and treatment of patients.
- Degree (BSc Hons Occupational Therapy) or equivalent.
- Post-graduate experience in relevant specialism, including post-operative hand splinting.
- Clinical leadership experience, e.g., developing peers.
- Competence across a range of occupational therapy, management, and leadership skills.
- Evidence of post-registration continuing professional development.
- Proficiency in MS Office and other relevant software.
- Registration with the Health Care Professions Council.
- Membership of the Royal College of Occupational Therapists is desirable.
