As a Safeguarding and Compliance Leader at First Choice Homes Oldham, you will play a vital role in shaping the future of our organisation by leading and managing health and safety, property safety, and compliance initiatives.

About the Role:
  • You will be responsible for ensuring full compliance with regulatory requirements, developing and implementing robust safety frameworks, and fostering a strong health and safety culture within our organisation.
  • As a leader, you will oversee key safety projects, manage property safety across various assets, including fire, gas, electrical safety, water hygiene, asbestos, district heating, and building safety.

This is a fantastic opportunity to join a highly motivated team and contribute strategically to asset management, exceeding statutory, legal, and regulatory requirements. Your experience and skills will help us maintain our highest regulatory rating (G1/V1) and achieve our vision of improving lives.

About You:
  • You possess a Housing Management Level 5 qualification or willingness to work towards it.
  • Able to demonstrate strong knowledge of current best practice in property safety and the ability to keep up-to-date with evolving good practice.
  • Understands the importance of equality, diversity, and inclusion, treating colleagues and customers fairly and equitably.
