Job Description

The Independent End Point Assessor will be responsible for assessing apprentices in the Early Years Lead Practitioner L5 occupation.

This role requires a qualified IQA with up-to-date knowledge and expertise of the subject matter.

The assessor will need to have no direct connection or conflict of interest with the apprentice, their employer or training provider.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Assess the performance of candidates in accordance with published assessment and grading criteria and procedures
  • Maintain and provide evidence of ongoing relevant Continuous Professional Development (CPD)
  • Follow protocols set out in Pearson's specifications, assessment materials and quality assurance protocols
  • Maintain service-level agreements regarding responding to EPA planning, operational activities, reports and submissions of assessment outcomes
  • Report all risks and issues encountered during the end-point assessment to Pearson

Essential Requirements:

  • Hold a relevant Level 6 qualification and have 2 years postgraduate relevant experience within Early Years Practice
  • Have an Assessor qualification and a DBS Certificate
  • Be able to travel to conduct assessments on dates agreed with employers and/or providers

Salary: £40,000 - £60,000 per year

In this role, you will have the opportunity to work with us as an independent end point assessor, assessing apprentices in the Early Years Lead Practitioner L5 occupation.

You will need to have a relevant qualification, experience and skills to assess the performance of candidates.
