Job Overview
This is a fantastic opportunity for an experienced Finance Assistant to join our team on a 12-month fixed-term contract. The successful candidate will be responsible for assisting in the preparation of financial statements and reports, maintaining accurate and up-to-date financial records, and performing bank reconciliations.
Key Responsibilities
The successful candidate will be responsible for:
- Preparing financial statements and reports
- Maintaining accurate and up-to-date financial records
- Performing bank reconciliations
- Managing fixed assets
- Credit card reconciliation
- Bank administration
- Working closely with the finance team to ensure smooth operation of all finance matters
- Assisting with the annual audit process
- Cash flow reporting
- Handling administrative tasks related to the finance department
Requirements
To be successful in this role, you should have:
- Excellent numerical and analytical skills
- Proficiency in MS Office, particularly in Excel
- Strong bank reconciliation experience
- Strong organisational skills and attention to detail
- Good understanding of financial and accounting principles
- Strong communication skills and ability to work well in a team
