Job Description

Job Title: Programme Surveyor - External Contracts & Delivery

Job Summary:

We are seeking a highly skilled Programme Surveyor to join our External Contracts & Delivery team. As a Programme Surveyor, you will be responsible for overseeing fire risk management, coordinating diverse investment projects, and addressing related issues across your designated locality.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Oversee fire risk management and ensure compliance with relevant regulations
  • Coordinate diverse investment projects, including construction and maintenance activities
  • Address related issues, such as site safety management and fire safety requirements
  • Work closely with project teams, external contractors, and building consultants to deliver programmes of maintenance work
  • Manage project budgets and resources effectively
  • Develop and implement strategies to enhance customer satisfaction

Requirements:

  • Experience in the housing or construction industry
  • Knowledge of Building safety regulations, particularly CDM, asbestos management, site safety management, and fire safety requirements
  • A sound understanding of construction to deliver a broad range of property-related activities
  • A relevant technical qualification in construction or building services
  • Experience of customer consultation in a planned maintenance/construction setting
  • Knowledge of building construction, maintenance, contracts, and procurement
  • Good management skills and experience of successfully managing project teams and external contractors

Working Arrangements:

This is a home-based role, and a full UK driving licence and ability to travel across our Severn locality (Worcestershire, Herefordshire, and Gloucestershire) is essential. Business mileage expenses are reimbursed from your home address as per HMRC mileage rates.
