About the Role

We are seeking a skilled Cleaning Supervisor to join our team at Meldrum Academy. As a Cleaning Supervisor, you will be responsible for maintaining and supervising the performance of cleaning staff in line with contractual KPIs.

Key Responsibilities

  • Commute to Meldrum Academy and maintain a high level of cleanliness throughout the site.
  • Supervise and train cleaning staff to ensure they meet contractual KPIs.
  • Liaise with the Soft Services Manager to provide cover for overtime, annual leave, and absence.
  • Allocate work and quality control, checking work schedules and resolving problems.
  • Ensure compliance with site waste management procedures and RFM practices.
  • Work closely with the Soft Services Manager to maintain the cleanliness of the site to required standards.

Requirements

  • Experience in cleaning in a commercial capacity.
  • Experience as a Team Leader or Supervisor preferred.
  • Good customer care skills and ability to exercise initiative and prioritise duties.
  • Knowledge of Health & Safety best practices and awareness of COSHH regulations.
  • Able to work to a high standard against agreed timescales with limited supervision.
