Groundworker

We are looking for a groundworker for our clients long term projects starting on a site in Inverurie.

Job Summary:
We are seeking a skilled and reliable Groundworker to join our team. As a Groundworker, you will be responsible for assisting with various tasks related to construction and maintenance of outdoor spaces. This is a physically demanding role that requires attention to detail and the ability to work effectively as part of a team.

**Responsibilities**:

- Assist with the preparation and maintenance of outdoor areas, including parks, gardens, and construction sites
- Operate and maintain tools and equipment used in groundworks, such as shovels, rakes, and power tools
- Perform manual labor tasks, including digging trenches, laying pipes, and leveling surfaces
- Assist with the installation of irrigation systems, fences, and other outdoor structures
- Ensure that work areas are clean and free from hazards
- Follow safety protocols and wear appropriate protective gear at all times
- Collaborate with team members to complete projects efficiently and on schedule
- Communicate effectively with supervisors and team members regarding project progress

**Skills**:

- Strong physical stamina and the ability to perform manual labor for extended periods of time
- Knowledge of basic construction techniques and tools used in groundworks
- Ability to read and interpret blueprints or construction plans is a plus
- Excellent attention to detail and the ability to follow instructions accurately
- Strong teamwork skills and the ability to collaborate effectively with others
- Good communication skills to interact with team members and supervisors

We offer competitive pay rates based on experience.

Pay: £17.00-£20.00 per hour

Expected hours: 45 - 55 per week
