Customer Administrator Job Description

We are seeking a highly skilled Customer Administrator to join our dynamic team in Stockport. As a key member of our team, you will play a crucial role in providing exceptional customer service and administrative support.

Main Responsibilities:
  • Customer Inquiry Handling: Efficiently handle and monitor customer inquiries to ensure timely and effective resolution.
  • Email Management: Monitor email inboxes and check information to ensure seamless communication with customers and suppliers.
  • Logistics and Administration: Arrange collections from customers and suppliers, scan relevant information into the system, and update customer assets on the database.
  • ERP System Management: Manage the flow of work within the company's ERP systems, process incoming and outgoing subcontract items, and support logistics and workshops.
  • Customer Communication: Liaise internally with other sites, raise purchase requisitions if required, and order parts for customers.
  • Customer Support: Manage customer emails, inboxes, and HR staff, monitor and respond to dashboards, and develop and implement new terms and processes.
  • Additional Responsibilities: Assist with stock taking and provide support to the calibration laboratory as required.
Requirements:
  • Strong Attention to Detail: Possess strong attention to detail and IT literacy to ensure accurate and efficient work.
  • Self-Motivation and Teamwork: Demonstrate self-motivation and a team-oriented mindset to work effectively in a fast-paced environment.
  • Excellent Communication Skills: Possess excellent telephone manner and communication skills to interact with customers and colleagues.
  • Organisational Skills: Exhibit exceptional organisational skills and the ability to multitask efficiently and meet specific timelines.

We are looking for a motivated and experienced Customer Administrator to join our team. If you have at least 2 years of experience in a similar Customer Service role and possess the required skills and qualities, we would love to hear from you.

Please note that the salary offered for this position is £23,500 to £25,000pa. Working hours are Monday to Friday from 08:00 - 16:30 (15:30 finish on a Friday).
