Mental Health Team Lead

Sanctuary Personnel Ltd, a forward-thinking recruitment agency, is seeking an experienced Senior Social Worker to join its Adult Mental Health Team on a permanent full-time basis in Wandsworth.
The salary for this position is up to £52,632 per annum.
Job Responsibilities:- To contribute to the management team and provide inspirational leadership, being visible both in the office and online, working alongside staff and building relationships with practitioners.
- To offer regular strengths-based supervision to social care staff, empowering them to develop their practice, focusing on their skills, celebrating achievements, and facilitating reflective discussions.
- To effectively communicate the Corporate values and behaviours to the service, discussing equality, diversity, and inclusion with practitioners, challenging discrimination, and raising issues of inequality.
- To conduct regular case file audits, using the outcomes to support learning and professional development, identify training needs, and ensure they are acted upon.
- To assist with budget management by ensuring consistent work throughput and timely completion of work steps, including quality assurance and authorisation of assessments, support plans, and reviews.
- To monitor package implementation and adjust as necessary, ensuring individual care packages, including funding arrangements, are thoroughly reviewed in accordance with statutory requirements and Council policy.
- To take effective action to assess, record, manage, and reduce risk to the service, people with care and support needs, and their carers and partner organisations in accordance with Council and partner organisations policies and procedures.
- To foster a positive attitude towards risk and a no-blame culture, supporting practitioners to take ownership of their practice and facilitate innovation and creativity.
