The Wandsworth Mental Health Recovery and Rehabilitation service delivers focused rehabilitation and recovery support to adults with complex and enduring Mental Health conditions.

We promote independence and prevent hospital admissions through our person-centred approach, enabling choice and control for each individual to realise their potential. Our service users have access to training, education, and employment opportunities.

A key aspect of this role as a Recovery Worker is to promote empowerment and independence among service users.

Your contributions will directly influence the lives of our service users, guiding them towards a path of empowerment and independence.

This role involves:

  • Clearly articulating the aims and objectives, pathway, and service model to people using the service so they can fully participate in and co-produce their support.
  • Empowering service users to engage effectively in their liaisons with professionals within the community.
  • Working flexibly as part of a team to ensure service coverage and that contractual obligations are met.
  • Developing co-produced group activities, peer support networks, and other community-based approaches to empowering service users to achieve their goals and aspirations.
  • Actively monitoring the health, wellbeing, safety, and security of the service and its users.
  • Participating in core work, providing support to colleagues, and carrying out tasks allocated by the service manager.

Salary: £25,000 - £28,000 per annum

We require all staff to undertake safeguarding training throughout their employment with us.
