About the Role:

We are seeking a highly skilled and experienced Media Planner to join our team at Born Social. As a Media Planner, you will play a key role in developing and executing media plans that drive business results for our clients.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Lead and develop a team of planners to deliver successful media plans and industry-leading results.
  • Represent the Media team within Born Social for key clients and build strong relationships to understand their business objectives and media needs.
  • Develop and implement budget planning and KPI setting strategies to deliver desired outcomes for clients.
  • Select the right media channels to achieve client objectives and allocate media budgets accordingly.
  • Work closely with strategy and creative teams to develop social-first content ideas and execute them across media plans.
  • Develop account measurement frameworks and reporting to prove the impact of media plans and deliver insights to clients.
  • Drive new business growth through pitch work and existing client relationships.

Requirements:

  • 3+ years of experience in paid media planning, preferably in an agency setting.
  • Proven track record of creating media plans for brand and eCommerce clients and ensuring accurate delivery.
  • Strong client-facing experience and ability to manage client relationships.
  • Hands-on experience building campaigns on Meta and TikTok, with exposure to other platforms like Google AdWords, YouTube, Snapchat, X, Spotify, and Pinterest.
  • Analytical mind with creativity, problem-solving, and evaluation skills to achieve client objectives.
  • Confidence with numbers, including data analysis and interpretation.
  • Collaborative mindset with experience working with multiple stakeholders to ensure media is considered from strategy to delivery.
  • Confidence in presenting ideas and communicating complex media planning concepts.
  • Ideal experience in leading and managing people.
