Job Overview

We are seeking a highly skilled Night Nurse/Paramedic to join our Urgent Care Service in East Kent. The successful candidate will provide high-quality care to patients with urgent clinical needs, working collaboratively with the multidisciplinary team to deliver excellent patient outcomes.

Main Duties and Responsibilities
  • Assess, plan, implement, and evaluate holistic care for patients with urgent clinical needs.
  • Develop integrated care plans in partnership with patients, families, and healthcare professionals.
  • Order equipment and refer patients to other services as necessary.
  • Support the supervision and development of junior staff, including healthcare assistants and students.
  • Work collaboratively with the multidisciplinary team to provide high-quality care to patients.
  • Undertake a range of competent clinical interventions and identify any deterioration in patients' condition, taking appropriate action.
  • Manage a caseload of patients with complex needs, associated with a specific specialty.
  • Support in duty role and complete triages.

Person Specification

The ideal candidate will be a registered healthcare professional with relevant professional body registration (e.g., NMC or HCPC). They will have experience of recent community/acute healthcare gained through education or work experience placement or previous employment. The candidate will also possess sound communication and interpersonal skills, ability to organise own work, and ability to cope with change.
