About the Role:

We are seeking an experienced Children's Day Nursery Cook to join our team at the Early Years Alliance. As a key member of our nursery staff, you will be responsible for maintaining a safe, clean and healthy kitchen environment and preparing and serving nutritional meals to children and adults.

Our ideal candidate will have a current Food Hygiene Certificate and a current First Aid Certificate, as well as an awareness of food allergies and health and safety issues. They will also be required to undertake an enhanced DBS check, if their current certificate is not subscribed to the update service.

The successful applicant will work 20 hours per week throughout the year, with regular access to internal and external learning and development opportunities. They will also be eligible for our Employee Assistant Programme (EAP), which includes 24/7 helpline access, dedicated managers helpline, confidential counselling sessions delivered by accredited specialists, legal, debt and life management advice, discounts, and wellbeing content plus resources.

We offer a competitive salary package, including 25 days annual leave plus 8 bank holidays, pro rata for part-time employees, and a pension scheme. The estimated salary for this role is ££28,000 - £32,000 per year , depending on experience and qualifications.
