Job Description

**Job Summary**

We are seeking a highly motivated and organized individual to provide exceptional administrative support to the Medical Directors within the Medical Directorate at NHS England. The successful candidate will be responsible for managing the director's diary, organizing meetings, and preparing documentation, while maintaining confidentiality and discretion at all times.

Key Responsibilities

  • Diary Management: Provide effective diary management for the director, prioritizing competing demands and ensuring an appropriate balance.
  • Meeting Organization: Organize and manage documentation for meetings, including preparation of agendas and minutes, tracking actions and timeframes as necessary.
  • Documentation Production: Organize and produce reports, papers, presentations, and other documentation in accordance with organizational timeframes.
  • Communication: Act as a contact point for the director, dealing with and responding effectively to queries from internal and external stakeholders.
  • Confidentiality: Handle significant quantities of confidential and sensitive information on behalf of the director, ensuring the appropriate degree of confidentiality and discretion.
  • Risk Management: Understand and highlight risks, issues, and actions, ensuring early identification and proactive mitigation where possible.
  • Flexibility: Demonstrate a flexible approach to work in line with the needs of the business.
