Job Title: Global Retail Operations Director

As a Global Retail Operations Director, you will be responsible for leading the development and implementation of our global retail operations strategy. This includes expanding our retail footprint, ensuring successful operations and execution of best practices in our new stores globally.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Develop and implement the global retail operations strategy, aligning with the overall business objectives.
  • Develop, adapt, and standardize operational policies, procedures, and best practices to optimize store and wholesale performance.
  • Lead the rollout plan for new store openings and wholesale expansion, ensuring seamless transitions from concept to full-scale operations.
  • Oversee the global visual merchandising strategy to ensure consistency in our locations, aligned to global brand campaigns.
  • Design, create, deliver, and evaluate the success of our IRL training and career development program.
  • Develop and implement customer feedback systems to gather insights and drive continuous improvement.
  • Build, lead, and develop a high-performing retail and wholesale global support team.
  • Foster a positive and engaging work environment that promotes teamwork, growth, and continuous improvement.
  • Monitor and manage budgets, forecasts, and financial performance to achieve revenue and profitability targets.

Requirements:

  • Extensive experience in retail and wholesale operations management globally, with at least 5 years in a senior leadership role.
  • Proven track record of successfully opening and managing multiple retail and wholesale locations in different territories.
  • Experience of managing global retail and wholesale operations teams, including global visual merchandising and training teams.
  • Experience of developing and delivering a global retail and wholesale operations strategy with a meaningful vision and clear deliverables.
  • Strong financial acumen with experience in P&L management and budget oversight.
  • Exceptional leadership and team development skills.
  • Strong negotiation and influencing skills to move across a variety of senior stakeholder groups internally and externally.
  • Excellent strategic planning and organizational abilities.
  • Strong analytical and problem-solving skills.
  • Outstanding communication and interpersonal skills.
  • Ability to thrive in a fast-paced, dynamic environment.
