Mencap is seeking a dedicated Support Worker to join our team in Doncaster. As a Support Worker, you will play a vital role in the lives of individuals with learning disabilities, assisting with daily activities and providing emotional support.
The service supports two ladies and one gentleman, each with unique personalities and needs. You will work with a diverse group of people, supporting them with daily tasks, cooking, cleaning, administering medication, finance, health appointments, and accessing the community.
We are looking for someone with a genuine passion for supporting others, excellent communication skills, and the ability to build meaningful relationships. Flexibility to work various shifts, including evenings, weekends, and holidays, is essential.
Contract options include part-time flexible hours based on availability. Shift times vary, but all services are 24-hour care. We prepare rotas at least 6 weeks in advance to ensure you can plan your personal and social life.
