Transmission Land Graduate Programme Specialist

We are seeking a highly motivated and ambitious graduate to join our Land team as a Graduate Land Manager. As a key member of our team, you will play a crucial role in securing the land rights required to build and maintain our transmission network.
As a Graduate Land Manager, you will work closely with our project teams, landowners, and stakeholders to assess the impact of our infrastructure projects on rural land and businesses. You will be responsible for negotiating rights over land and property, including wayleaves and options for servitudes or land purchase.
Stakeholder engagement is a critical aspect of this role, and you will have the opportunity to develop and maintain positive working relationships with a wide range of stakeholders, including landowners, tenants, and local authorities.
You will be supported in your role with a placement plan, regular meetings with your line manager, and networking opportunities with key business leaders. You will also have the opportunity to enter into the RICS APC and CAAV training programmes, with dedicated support from other RICS and CAAV members within the SSE business.
What We're Looking For- A minimum of a 2:2 bachelor's degree in Land Management, Real Estate Management, or Rural Surveying from a RICS-accredited institution.
