About the Role

We are seeking a highly motivated and enthusiastic individual to join our team as an Assistant Psychologist/Trainee Therapist. This is an exciting opportunity to work in a dynamic and supportive environment, providing high-quality psychological care to service users accessing our IAPT service.

Key Responsibilities
  • Support and enhance the psychological care of service users accessing our IAPT service.
  • Conduct triages under close clinical supervision.
  • Hold a small caseload of clients accessing 1:1 therapy.
  • Write and organise therapy groups.
  • Participate in outreach work and projects.
  • Audit and analyse data for treatments.
  • Perform ad-hoc tasks instructed by management.
Requirements
  • Undergraduate degree in Psychology and/or MSc in Psychology or Social Science.
  • Any type of mental health experience (voluntary, as a carer) is desirable.
  • Knowledge of common mental health problems and IAPT services is essential.
  • Commitment to future ongoing training as a PWP trainee within our service.
