Support Worker for Independent Living

About the Role
">We are seeking a highly skilled and compassionate Support Worker to join our team at Cooper Household. As a Personal Assistant, you will be responsible for providing exceptional care and support to a visually impaired individual, enabling them to maintain their independence in their own home.
The ideal candidate will have excellent communication skills, be able to work flexibly, and have experience in providing care and support to individuals with varying needs.
The successful candidate will be required to assist with daily living tasks, such as cleaning, meal preparation, and shopping, as well as providing emotional support and companionship.
Key Responsibilities
">- Assisting with daily living tasks, including cleaning, laundry, and meal preparation
- Providing emotional support and companionship to the client
- Accompanying the client on outings and activities
- Assisting with pet care, including walking dogs and feeding animals
Requirements
">- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
- Experience in providing care and support to individuals with varying needs
- Ability to work flexibly and adapt to changing circumstances
- Reliable transportation and a valid driving license
Working Hours
">The working hours for this role are flexible, but typically include 7 days a week, various shifts available. Additional flexible hours may be required Monday to Saturday, and will include Sundays on occasion.
Rate of Pay
">The rate of pay for this role is £16.00-£20.00 per hour, dependent on experience.
