Job Description:

We are looking for a highly skilled and experienced individual to join our team as an IT Quality Control Manager. This role involves working closely with our delivery staff to ensure that quality standards are met, and that our learners receive the best possible education.

About the Role:

The successful candidate will be responsible for reviewing best practice seen from assurance and development activities, contributing to approaches to transfer and capture impact across provision, and driving monthly completions with allocated delivery according to predictions.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Review best practice seen from assurance and development activities
  • Contribute to approaches to transfer and capture impact across provision
  • Drive monthly completions with allocated delivery according to predictions
  • Participate in coaching and training provided to delivery team and measure impact on processes within learner journey
  • Support operational teams in developing reflective and evaluative practice during self-assessment and improvement planning activities
  • Liaise with appropriate staff to ensure systems in support of teaching, learning and assessment, verification and any additional support required are fully implemented
  • Supporting and ensuring delivery staff embed cross-cutting wider skill themes throughout learning programme
  • Contribute to staff recruitment and induction process and assure suitability of new delivery staff
  • Undertake CPD and sector updating to ensure contractual requirements of post and needs of department are met
  • Provide Line Manager with accurate and up-to-date information, including requesting reporting

Qualifications and Experience:

  • Relevant teaching qualification
  • Sector Qualification to at least level 4 or 5 dependent on qualifications being sampled
  • Relevant Assessor Qualification
  • Relevant Internal Quality Assurer Qualification
  • Level 2 numeracy and literacy (or GCE/GCSE equivalent) (desirable)

Salary: £35,000 - £45,000 per annum, depending on experience
