Salary and Benefits

Job Description

We are seeking an experienced Assistant Governance Manager to provide end-to-end meeting support for the Risk Executive and Audit Executive. This role involves preparing meeting agendas, interpreting governance documents, drafting and coordinating relevant sections for the Transparency Report, and producing accurate and timely minutes of meetings.

The successful candidate will have experience in organizing meetings, delivering concurrently running projects, and prioritizing conflicting demands. They will also possess excellent interpersonal and communication skills, both written and spoken, as well as proficiency in MS Office packages.

Main Responsibilities
  • Prepare meeting agendas for review by Committee Chairs.
  • Interpret governance documents to make recommendations on applicable governance procedures.
  • Assist with drafting and coordinating Transparency Report sections.
  • Compile and publish Executive and Committee papers using Teams.
  • Provide effective cover for other Assistant Governance Managers and Senior Governance Manager during periods of annual leave.
  • Produce accurate and timely minutes of meetings.
  • Review and update annual meeting planners for Committees.
  • Uphold best practice standards of corporate governance.
  • Track and follow up on actions raised at meetings.
  • Maintain an archive of Committee meeting papers and minutes.
Requirements

To be successful in this role, you will need to have:

  • Certified Governance Institute (CGI) part qualified or qualified
  • Excellent interpersonal and communication skills, written, spoken, and presentational
  • Experience of organizing meetings
  • Delivery of concurrently running projects and prioritizing conflicting demands
  • Excellent organizational and project management skills
  • A self-sufficient, confident, and proactive individual who can manage their workload independently
  • Ability to interact effectively with senior leaders and wider firm
  • Strong organizational skills with ability to produce high-quality work under tight deadlines
  • Proficiency in MS Office packages
