Job Title: Senior Governance Development Manager

About the Role:

We are seeking an experienced Senior Governance Development Manager to join our team in the South West region. The successful candidate will be responsible for developing partnerships across the region and growing membership for our organisation.

As a Senior Governance Development Manager, you will have the opportunity to work with various stakeholders, including local authorities, multi-academy trusts, and teaching school alliances/hubs. You will be required to identify opportunities to develop partnerships to improve governance and promote our services.

The ideal candidate will have a thorough understanding of school and trust governance in England, as well as experience in marketing and promotions strategies. Excellent communication skills and the ability to work to strict deadlines are essential.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Developing partnerships across the South West region to grow membership for our organisation
  • Working with local authorities, multi-academy trusts, and teaching school alliances/hubs to identify opportunities to develop partnerships
  • Providing intelligence from partnership groups and local associations to improve our offer to members, governors, trustees, and clerks
  • Keeping up-to-date with external factors and assessing potential and added value of new relationships

  • In-depth understanding of school and trust governance in England
  • Experience in marketing and promotions strategies
  • Excellent communication skills and ability to work to strict deadlines
