About the Role

We are seeking a highly motivated and experienced Commercial Account Executive to join our team in Cheltenham. As a key member of our Commercial Sales Team, you will be responsible for delivering exceptional client service and supporting our "right first time" approach to customer service.

The successful candidate will have a proven track record in sales and customer service, with a strong understanding of commercial insurance products and services. You will be confident in your ability to develop and maintain relationships with clients, agents, and insurers, and have excellent communication and negotiation skills.

Key Responsibilities
  • Manage and service a book of existing commercial business, developing and negotiating profitable sales within your authority and in line with our strategy.
  • Attend external events to promote our services and build relationships with clients and partners.
  • Plan, prioritize, and manage your own work to deliver agreed objectives and meet service level agreements (SLAs) for exceptional customer service.
  • Use effective communication methods to support our right first time approach, maintaining successful internal and external relationships.
  • Understand and operate within regulatory frameworks, identifying and escalating any risks to the business.
  • Assist in the growth of our business, including new business and renewals.
  • Achieve set targets and objectives.
  • Perform other duties as required.
Requirements
  • Excellent communication and negotiation skills.
  • Good understanding of commercial insurance products and services.
  • Proven sales and customer service experience.
  • Flexibility and ability to work under pressure.
  • Ability to develop relationships with clients, agents, and insurers.
  • Confident numeracy skills.
  • Qualified Cert CII or commitment to work towards within an agreed timescale.
  • Market, industry, and company knowledge.
