About the Role

We are seeking a highly motivated and experienced Commercial Account Executive to join our team in Cheltenham. As a key member of our Commercial Sales Team, you will be responsible for delivering exceptional client service and supporting our "right first time" approach to customer service.

The successful candidate will have a proven track record in sales and a good understanding of commercial insurance, including commercial combined, commercial property owners, SME, professional indemnity, and directors & officers. You will be confident in your communication skills, able to develop relationships with clients, agents, and insurers, and have the ability to construct effective written communications.

Key Responsibilities
  • Manage, service, and grow a book of existing commercial business.
  • Develop, negotiate, and profitably sell business within your authority and in line with our strategy.
  • Attend external events to promote our services.
  • Plan, prioritize, and manage your own work to deliver agreed objectives and meet SLAs to deliver exceptional customer service.
  • Use the appropriate method of communication to support our right first-time approach in order to maintain successful internal and external relationships.
  • Understand and operate within regulatory frameworks and identify and escalate any risks to the business.
  • Assist in the growth of our business - new business and renewals.
  • Achieve set targets agreed upon.
  • Perform any other duties required from time to time.
