About the Role

We are seeking a highly skilled and experienced Consultant Dermatologist to join our team at HCRG Care Group. As a Consultant Dermatologist, you will be responsible for providing high-quality care to patients attending our Dermatology Service.

Key Responsibilities
  • Provide high-quality care to all patients attending the Dermatology Service
  • Maintain professional standards and obligations as set out by the General Medical Council (GMC) and comply with the GMC's guidance on 'Good Medical Practice'
  • Offer support and leadership to junior medical colleagues, nursing colleagues, and other members of the multi-disciplinary team
  • Consulting with patients and determining skin ailments, prescribing medication, undertaking skin therapy treatment, performing skin surgery
Requirements
  • Entry on the General Medical Council (GMC) Specialist Register via one of the following: A Certificate of Completion of Training (CCT) in Dermatology or within 6 months of CCT date, Specialty Certificate Examination in Dermatology – MRCP (Dermatology)
  • Computer literate in office, internet applications, and literature searches
  • Flexible approach to work
  • Demonstrate commitment and ability to teach and train clinical staff and medical and nursing students
