Job Overview
The Division of Surgery – BHRUT NHS is seeking a highly skilled Fetal Surveillance Midwife to join our team. As a key member of our multidisciplinary team, you will play a crucial role in improving the effectiveness of fetal monitoring and intrapartum risk assessments.
Main Duties
The successful candidate will be responsible for leading the implementation of the Saving Babies' Lives Care Bundle (SBLCBV2), focusing on improving standards within Element 2; Risk assessment, prevention, and surveillance of pregnancies at risk of fetal growth restriction (FGR via GAP/GROW) and Element 3: Raising awareness of reduced fetal movement (RFM) and the new Element 5; Reducing preterm birth.

Person Specification
The ideal candidate will have a strong background in midwifery, with recent Labour Ward experience. They will also possess effective communication skills, both verbal and written, and be proficient in Saving Babies Lives Elements and associated clinical skills. Audit experience is also desirable.
