Financial Controller

We are seeking an experienced Financial Controller to join our team at Get Recruited Ltd. As a key member of our Senior Leadership Team, you will be responsible for leading our finance function and driving business growth.

• Lead a team of two finance professionals, overseeing transactional activities and developing the team to create efficiencies.
• Produce monthly and quarterly management accounts for three legal entities, including full commentary, insights, variance reports, and recommendations.
• Develop and implement key performance indicators (KPIs) throughout the business, introducing weekly financial flash reports on actual vs forecast.
• Manage cash flow forecasting and sharing key insights with the Managing Director.
• Conduct finance business partnering activities with the Senior Leadership Team, using data to drive financial efficiencies.
• Develop financial models to support new business proposals andenders.
• Review and optimize processes and systems to improve efficiency, implement controls, and enhance profitability.
• Manage the year-end and external audit process in conjunction with our external accountancy practice.
• Oversee and approve the monthly payroll process.
• Ensure the accuracy of the balance sheet and asset register.
• Manage capital expenditure and financing arrangements.
• Oversee annual insurance renewal and amendments.

• Experience in an SME environment, holding a Financial Controller role or similar.
• ACCA, ACA, or CIMA qualification preferred, but exceptional QBE/Qualified by Experience candidates will be considered.
• Strong financial modeling and data analysis skills.
• Experience with Sage is advantageous.
• Confident in implementing new processes and controls.
• Excellent communication skills, with the ability to provide business partnering support to non-financial members of the Senior Leadership Team.
