Job Title: Head Chef

Blue Arrow is seeking a highly skilled and experienced Head Chef to lead our kitchen team in Andover. As a key member of our team, you will be responsible for planning, organizing, and directing the preparation and cooking of food to the highest standards.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Plan and execute menus that showcase fresh, tapas-style cuisine
  • Lead a team of eight kitchen staff, providing guidance and support to ensure excellent food quality and presentation
  • Maintain high standards of food hygiene and safety, adhering to company policies and regulatory requirements
  • Oversee inventory management, minimizing waste and optimizing stock levels
  • Develop and implement efficient kitchen operations, ensuring seamless service delivery
  • Collaborate with the management team to drive business growth and profitability
Requirements:
  • Minimum 1 year's experience in a similar role, preferably in a pub or restaurant environment
  • Excellent culinary skills, with a passion for fresh, seasonal ingredients
  • Strong leadership and communication skills, with the ability to motivate and inspire a team
  • Ability to work effectively in a fast-paced environment, prioritizing tasks and managing multiple responsibilities
  • Knowledge of food safety and hygiene practices, with a commitment to maintaining high standards
