Job Title: Support Worker for Children with Learning Disabilities

About the Role:
We are seeking a dedicated Support Worker to join our team at Prospero Health & Social Care - Chelmsford. As a Support Worker, you will play a crucial role in creating a supportive and inclusive learning environment for children with learning disabilities, ASD, and challenging behaviour.

Key Responsibilities:

* Provide small group support to children with learning disabilities, ASD, and challenging behaviour.
* Implement behaviour management strategies to support children in regulating their emotions and behaviour.
* Encourage and motivate children to participate in classroom activities, fostering their confidence and independence.
* Work collaboratively with teachers, therapists, and other support staff to ensure children's individual education plans are followed.
* Help create a safe, engaging, and inclusive environment for all students.

Requirements:

* Experience working with children with learning disabilities, ASD, and/or challenging behaviour (in a school or similar setting).
* A patient, calm, and empathetic approach to supporting children with special educational needs.
* Ability to work as part of a team and use your initiative to support learning activities.
* A commitment to safeguarding and promoting the welfare of children.
