About the Role
The successful candidate will be responsible for managing multiple mechanically biased contracts, including air conditioning, swimming pool plants, gas boiler systems, HV generators, passenger lifts, HVAC, catering, and controlled access. You will work closely with suppliers to ensure effective delivery, provide customer support across 600 properties in Staffordshire and the surrounding region, and operate a bespoke asset management system to manage contractor adherence and report submission deadlines.
Key Responsibilities
- Managing mechanically biased contracts, including air conditioning, swimming pool plants, gas boiler systems, HV generators, passenger lifts, HVAC, catering, and controlled access
- Working with suppliers to overcome obstacles and ensure effective delivery
- Providing customer support across approximately 600 properties in Staffordshire and the surrounding region
- Operating a bespoke asset management system to manage contractor adherence and report submission deadlines
- Undertaking supplier staff audits to monitor safe working and competence
- Assisting with the procurement process, updating and improving technical specifications, assessing supplier responses, and mobilising new contracts
Requirements
To be successful in this role, you will need:
- Experience of facilities management in a large multi-site environment
- An in-depth knowledge of property statutory compliance regulations
- A comprehensive understanding of Microsoft Office, particularly Excel, to manipulate data and extract information from management reports output from the AMS
- Experience of programme management and performance management related to property and a comprehensive understanding of current issues in this field
- A valid driving licence with access to own vehicle

This is a competitive salary of up to £45,000 + company vehicle, plus a range of benefits including 23 days' holiday (rising to 27) with the opportunity to buy extra leave, a paid day out of the office to volunteer for charity, and a comprehensive pension scheme.
