Mechanical Systems Developer - TipTopJob

Job Overview:

We are looking for a skilled Mechanical Systems Developer to join our engineering team in Stafford, UK. The successful candidate will work on designing and developing light helicopters for the global market.

The role involves leading the development of mechanical design schemes and detailed designs of various aircraft parts and assemblies. This is an exciting opportunity to work on highly innovative projects using your skills and experience to deliver iconic aircraft to the global market.

Main Responsibilities:

  1. Design and develop mechanical systems including landing gear, flight controls, cabin seating, engine installations, or rotor systems.
  2. Conduct concept development for mechanical systems.
  3. Design mechanical systems using 3D CAD software.
  4. Develop part and system testing plans.

Requirements:

  • BSc/BEng in Mechanical or Aerospace Engineering (or HNC/HDC with equivalent experience).
  • Proven mechanical design, analysis & development experience.
  • Proficient in modeling parts & assemblies in 3D CAD.
  • Proficient in carrying out engineering calculations and the use of modeling and simulations software (Mathcad, ANSYS, or similar).
  • Experience in developing mechanical systems from concept to reality.

Compensation: £60,000 - £80,000 per year.
