About the Role

We are seeking a skilled and compassionate Housing Support Specialist to join our team at Community Gateway Association. As an Independent Living Officer, you will play a vital role in supporting older people to live independently in their own homes.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Deliver housing management support functions to older people in Independent Living properties and CGA homes.
  • Work closely with customers to ensure they have the best quality of life and are able to stay in their homes for as long as they can.
  • Provide an emergency response service to customers during weekdays, working a rota system.

Requirements:

  • Experience of working within a housing or support environment.
  • Experience of working with older or vulnerable people and supporting people with complex needs.
  • Good understanding of Health and Safety.
  • Driving licence and access to a car for business use.
