Job Title: Data Editor

As a Data Editor at ENGINEERINGUK, you will play a crucial role in crafting, editing, and curating high-quality content for our email newsletters. Your primary responsibility will be to work closely with our editorial team to develop and maintain our newsletter content, ensuring it meets the highest standards of quality and engagement.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Develop and implement content strategies to enhance the overall quality and engagement of our email newsletters.
  • Collaborate with the editorial team to create and edit content that aligns with our brand values and journalistic standards.
  • Use data and analytics to inform editorial decisions and optimize content for maximum impact.
  • Work closely with individual newsletter editors to ensure consistency and quality across all publications.
  • Sub-edit newsletter copy prior to publication, ensuring it meets our high standards of quality and accuracy.
Requirements:
  • Excellent editing skills and a proven ability to produce high-quality content under tight deadlines.
  • Exceptional attention to detail and a strong understanding of our brand values and journalistic standards.
  • Demonstrable ability to use analytics tools and data reports to inform editorial decisions.
  • Experience curating high-quality editorial content for engaged audiences.
  • Direct experience working on newsletters, an understanding of the industry, and what makes newsletters unique from other publishing media.
